Ingredients for cottage cheese vinaigrette recipe:
- 300g Cottage Cheese
- 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
- 1 table spoon of apple vinegar
- Olive oil
- Black pepper and salt
- 1 lemon
How to cook this
Add olive oil to cottage cheese, mix and keep adding love oil until you get a bit smooth, runny mixture.
Add in mustard seeds, apple vinegar and black pepper and salt to taste. I use about 1 teaspoon of peppers and pinch of salt.
Wash the lemon to remove wax then grate lemon zest and once done, cut the lemon and squeeze the lemon juice to the cottage cheese. Add lemon zest as well and mix everything together. Leave in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
You can also use different herbs to add flavor, depending with what you are serving this.
This has a really fresh taste so it’s perfect for a summer day 🙂
